Congrats for meeting your goal Wendy!! You are doing awesome! My body has been sticking at my natural plateau for a few weeks no matter how hard I try. I still have 1.6 lbs to go to meet my goal.

thanks! I really do think you're reading all these books like it starts with food, and some of the paleo books have really helped changing the way I think about eating. After this many years of struggling I hope I'm ready to make a permanent change this time. Knowing that it's helped me go run without a knee brace, might be part of it too :-)

I know what you mean! I do great, lose weight, and enjoy my food more than ever and then I get to a point where I think I can do it myself because I know what to eat. Then I eat 6 boxes of Girl Scout cookies because I'm not logging and gain it back (that might or might not be what happened this time). =)

Can't comment on your post from my phone, but wanted to say that you have been doing so good and don't give up!! Allow yourself the occasional splurge but hold yourself accountable by logging it on mfp. I lost 20 lbs last year (but gained 5 of it back) by logging my food and looking back at my logs I'm shocked that I was still able to lose with my splurges. Good luck! =)

thanks - i lost 30 lbs back in 2009 - tracking on SparkPeople, but then it crept back up! LOL I'm about 13lbs from where I realistically want to be, so MAYBE this time I can actually keep it off! ;)
