Good diet day yesterday. I decided to stop counting calories as I am familiar with the caloric content of most of the foods I eat. My plan is to keep my caloric intake within 1500 per day and my fat intake around 30 gm.I continue to do my physical therapy (PT) for my shoulder that has prevented me from doing the crawl stroke at the pool. I did make it to the pool yesterday but not before struggling to pull on my new swimsuit! I had ordered a larger size but didn't think I might need TWO sizes larger! Well, I won't exchange the suit but I now have another indicator that I needed to lose some weight. Did do about twenty minutes of breast stroke in the pool.My doctor says to drink more water to see if it helps the muscle cramps I've been having. I have been able to do so but I was up multiple times last night making bathroom visits. Still, I didn't eat during the night!One more success to mention: I bought some unsalted peanuts and had 1/4 cup as a snack. Peanuts are a notorious binge snack for me and it's not unusual for me to take them to bed and eat them until I fall asleep. I didn't touch them again that day!I am so stoked about doing my weigh-in tomorrow and getting started on this game!
Officially weighed in! Had a good diet day yesterday but had a little trouble falling asleep due to feeling hungry. Had a glass of kombucha which did the trick. I won't count that as eating during the night since I hadn't fallen asleep yet. Plan to do some gardening before it gets too hot, then to the pool later.
