  • Fairly pleased with today! I didn't meet all my goals- went a bit over my calories and definitely shot past my carb goal of 150g, but I still have an 800+ calorie deficit going on, so that something! And it's waaaaay better than the carb crazed way I've been eating lately...which has been making me gain steadily.

So I'm cool if my body needs an adjustment period. Day 1 was a success, and I'll do better tomorrow!

What programs, apps, systems, etc. everyone is using to reach their weight loss goals?
I’m a mish mash...basically following the Body for Life workout schedule of 3 days strength and 3 days HIIT weekly, using the Peloton app (Keiser bike) for HIIT days and warmup runs before strength. I followed the BFL program 13 years ago, with great results, but this time I’m trying out Lumen for food recommendations. Love starting each day with set macros!

I am using mfp to track calories. My gym just opened so I plan on doing 4 strength days and 2 cardio. It's been a year since I set foot in a gym and I am 15 pounds heavier. At home is not working out clearly so time yo try something different!

I'm tracking with my fitbit app- mostly bc I'm used to it and use it for step bets too. I'm focusing more on macros than straight calories this time, and while fitbit tells you how many grams you ate in total and gives you percentages, it doesn't count down to a goal or tell you how many carbs you have left. Which is fine with me, the math isn't that hard, lol.
