never thought about protein pancakes as I am new to this whole thing. What brand of chocolate protein do you prefer?

have a Nutty Banana Smoothie almost every work morning. It's so delicious and I'm not really a shake person - I don't even like bananas. Lol. The recipe is: 1 cup of almond milk or coconut milk, 1 cup ice, 1/2 frozen banana, 1 tbsp of almond butter, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder. I have dietary restrictions (no wheat, sugar, or dairy), so I can only have plant-based or vegan protein powders. I'm currently using Vega Protein & Greens which is pretty tasty. I was using Garden of Life Organic Greend and Protein Powder - Raw Protein with Probiotics/Enzymes. It isn't as good as the Vega, but it's much gentler on my stomach.

Macy - I feel like you are writing my story. I was always the really skinny one...until now. I too was thin growing up and even after I had 3 children. I enjoyed eating well and exercised a lot (I even taught group exercises classes for fun). Over the last five years, I have slowly gained weight. I now weigh 155, my highest weight ever. I sit all day with my job, have turned to quick meals (not always the healthiest), and I miss workouts because I am making excuses that I am too busy with family demands or tired. This craziest needs to stop as I know I can do better and I want to feel better physically. I am ready take control of my health. Thanks for sharing your story. I am cheering for you to feel good mentally and physically!
