I just won my third Kickstarter this week and pretty sure I'll win my forth tomorrow. Just started my first DB ever in January. Won my first round yesterday with my first transformer. Plan on joining Lexi's transformer once I get my points for winning tomorrow game with Syd. It definitely keeps you busy and motivated with that much money tied up and on the line. So at any given time I'm maxed out on the Kickstarters.

  • Lost 40 pounds about 2 years ago, and it stayed off for a while.. but eventually about 30 crept back on. Down 10 since January, I’ll get back in shape again!

So I'm in a 6 month dietbet as well, and was thinking that maybe I would just stick to that one when this one ended to save a bit of money. I'm wondering though if maybe I need the motivation of having a few different timelines to stick to. Does anyone have a thought on that?

I’ve been doing both. Only did kickstarters 2 years ago out of a fear of not being able to consistently stick with it, and was kicking myself when I lost for 6 months straight. So now I do both and the staggered timelines is working to motivate me.

I am also doing 3 and 3. My transformers are each a month apart, and then I do three Kickstarters every month now that the goals are doable for me as a way to keep pushing myself. I’ve got about 30 pounds until I’ve given myself permission to slow down and ease into goal weight with long term manageability.

What percentage at round 5 do we need to lose to go to round 6? I found the answer it’s 6%

10% is round 5 and end of round 6 you just have to maintain that.

I woke up 1.2 away from goal, if it wasn’t for all you encouraging us all to push through and not give up yet I would have given up. I need input please. I have been in Lexi’ DBs since last June. I’ve lost a total of 102 lbs. 50 of it since June. I’ve been bouncing within 5 lbs , 169-173 since December. I haven’t won a DB for awhile. I’m by no means unhappy because I have been able to stay pretty much where I am, not gain like I would have in past. However, I’m not sure if my body has decided that’s it folks. Or what? I’m 5’4” and 52 years old. I’m not sure what my goal should be. The charts say like 123. There is no way! So would it be better for me to do s transformer or just continue with kickstarters? How do I know what my goal is?

150 is my goal but I'm 5'2" I mean, do you feel happy with where you are healthwise? You might feel and look fine. Honestly I'd take a DB break but if you're not already doing this I'd weightlift. It will help burn off any extra fat and it will make you look leaner AND I think it's the most important exercise you can do. 123 is from the bmi chart which is insane! Basically every athlete shows up as obese on the bmi scale due to their muscles.

CrossFit! I had MAJOR gym phobia and was so intimidated walking in and signing up but the community CrossFit fosters is AMAZING. I LOVE going now and look forward to my workout days. Everyone is so nice and supportive and there are truly people at every level and stage of their journey. I’m so glad I put myself out of my comfort zone because I found something I truly love and can see myself doing long term. I hope you find that too! It may not be CrossFit but I truly believe there is something everyone will love

I enjoy hiking, walking and now some running also. I joined a run bet and it has kept me motivated. No matter how tired I am I do my run/fast walk.
