Got up & weighed in, don’t know if I made it ‘cause I can’t remember what I was supposed to be, but I know I’m less than I was :) we’ll see... now to work on the next round. These past few months have been a crazy ride, not just here, but just in life in general. Things have been tough, but I think the rest of the summer should be a bit better for me & my family. Hoping everyone stays safe & enjoys their ride, we’re going to try. :))

I totally almost forgot to do my weigh-in this round, thank God for email alerts! Haven’t been attentive to this group, because I’ve been doing other fb challenges which take my attention. I’ve recently gone to eating vegan in the last couple of months, so have been paying attention to that instead. All heading to the same goal - better health as I age. Almost to my next round goal - ain’t always easy that’s for sure, I think the humid weather helps me ‘cause I just don’t want to eat, & all those veggies help for sure! I saw a tiny gap between my thighs this picture :) I know, tmi haha

Question- My next weigh in requires me to be at 153.6. My scale doesn’t do tenths. Any idea if 153 will be accepted or if I’ll need to get down to 152?

How is everyone doing? What is your strategy for weight loss? Are you losing consistently or struggling? I haven’t done a long bet in a long time. So far so good. I’m sticking to my eating plan and tracking it all and have been walking a lot. Also joined step bet to keep myself moving more.

I've been fairly consistent, but I'm just managing to lose enough for the weigh in. I'd like to step it up a bit. I do a 20 min strength training exercise every day, eat better and log my food... I also try to go out for an hour walk, but the weather hasn't been very good lately. House renovations have also helped! Painting is more of a workout than I remember. Lol.


I find Runbet more motivating. For StepBet I found myself frantically pacing in the living room at 1150pm to get my steps in, whereas Runbet I know I have to do a continuous workout, even if it's a fast walk.

Will you be dropped from the bet if you don't weigh in the first round? Took a pic of the scale had to wait til I got to work to have someone take a pic of me on the scale. The word changed and then my weight changed drastically by the end of the day, by like 4lbs. So I'd rather skip this round than post a weight higher than my initial. #stillmotivated

Antisocial, withdrawn, still unwashed and in my pjs after 2 in the afternoon and with 10 hours to go I talked myself into taking the dang weigh in picture. Feeling flattened by life. Also no way did I want to give in to that state of mind, especially when I knew I would be more than 2 lbs under my goal. Submitted the photo!

Man this is hard. I weighed in today and beat the goal by .4 ounces. I’m in three games right now. I really should’ve made it by more than .4 ounces. I’m really gonna have to keep on track with my food the next three weeks in order to beat the other game so that the other two games will be no problem. Lesson learned.
