Crunch-time on the last game!

I predict by tomorrow I'll (hopefully) have 4 pounds left to lose to win (knock on wood). My low carb + 16:8 plan is continuing to work for me at a rate of .8 - 1 pound loss per day. I honestly see myself doing this indefinitely (or until it's time to maintain anyway!). I have never enjoyed eating early in the morning so it really does fit my lifestyle quite well.

Now I'm nervous. Not about the weight but about the submission. Ha! When we submit the confirmation photos do they have to be in the same location and the same scale? I'm regretting having Jeff take my photo and doing it in the afternoon. It would be easier for me be take my own photo in the gym mirror but that would be slightly different. Same clothes though .... I don't have a full length mirror at home.

Personally, I'd use the same scale and the same time of day (or earlier). I wouldn't use a different scale because they can vary so much. I'm not sure what the "official" rules are...but I can't imagine they can hold you to the same scale because what if your scale breaks and you need a new one?

P.S. My mother likes to watch the pioneer woman on TV. We were just talking about her yesterday. I've seen her recipes here and there but I guess there's a lot more to her ....

I've never heard of her but when I was searching for nacho ideas, hers popped right up! Can't wait!! But will Dietbet think I'm cheating if I weigh in for the final weigh in on Monday and then gain 5 pounds the next day when I weigh in for Jillian Michaels? Of course, they may not accept my weigh-in weight and I won't be able to cheat anyway...we'll see!

Only a week and a half left! it's amazing how fast time goes...that's why it's so easy to slip into bad habits and stay there, right? I know I always say, "I'll do better starting Monday!" But I can't say that anymore - I'm tired of wasting time!

You know...I believe there is some crazy, undiscovered law of physics that won't allow us to take off the weight as fast as we put it on?! How is it that I can gain 3 pounds in one day but I can't take off 3 pounds in one day?
