I'm still working my tail off, but my scale isn't budging. I feel like I should avoid the scale until this weekend and then push even harder. How's it going for you?

How are you coming along for this bet? This has been a lot harder for me than the first one and it's probably going to be close! The 4 days in WI where I gave myself permission to eat whatever I wanted probably didn't help.

Oy! I'm not doing well this time around. I some how have to lose 5 pounds in the next week and a half. I haven't been "too" off, but it's off enough. I'm hoping adding more working out will help. My measurements are better, but not my weight :-(

I must say, I've been tracking my food intake and exercise on my fitness pal and the last two days it tells me I should lose 8 pounds in 5 weeks but every morning I weigh slightly more. quite confused! might not be eating the best, but in and out I thought was what mattered? how's your bet going?

I've also found that the amount of water I drink definitely affects what I see on the scale. I can drop about 2lbs in water weight over two days by drinking 3-4 liters of water a day. And on days when I'm too busy to drink a lot I always see a rise on the scale.

I have to concur! I always feel like it's backwards, but sure enough, the more water I drink, the less the scale says I weigh...though I do make sure to pee before weigh-in! Good news - I won another bet today! Not sure how much, will find out tomorrow.

I actually haven't worked out in a week and it's feeling okay. I'm going to try a couple of things this weekend since I have a little more time. I'll be doing a lot of stretching and making Andy give some good back rubs!

Sure enough, worked out a bit this week and disastrous results. Guess I'm headed back to the doc to figure out how to handle the pain.

Thanks! It helps when you weigh in after a weekend of high calorie food and boating :-P I'm just a little worried about my back now. It's been quite painful recently and it only feels good when I'm on my back (insert dirty joke here). I'm hoping it gets better, so I can resume working out!
