I started teaching and gained 30 lbs. I got up to 194lbs, I've lost almost 20 lbs since I started my weight loss journey. I would like to get back down to my "happy" weight!

HI Jessica...good job on the weight loss. I am the one with the blood pressure med question. I am on a beta blocker. It lowers my heart rate when I exercise. However, the med is not working to lower my blood pressure. I do not want to go on any more meds right now. However, I noticed when I tried to do very mild toning exercises (i.e. using my own body weight) my blood pressure went up and I went into a biological panic attack. I was not feeling panic but my body felt it. I am BMI of 37 so obese. I am wondering if anyone else has experience with exercise, toning, beta blockers, HBP meds etc.

Thanks...I know that is best but I am afraid of finding out other things that are wrong. I get stressed very easily with health related issues so for now I think it is best if I just do what I am doing and hope I keep losing some weight.

That's why it's best to god out early so you don't cause more problems. Believe me, you should go. But best of luck! You should continue to walk and do light exercise.
