So I have to share my one trick that worked for me last time I lost a significant amount of weight. Broccoli Slaw. It is sold prepackaged in the same place you can find the prepackaged salad. Why is this such a great trick you ask? Because it has almost no flavor and is EASY to cook. I use it as my substitute for most carbs! Steam it, boil it and drain it in a collander or saute it. It works to substitue pasta or rice in ANY dish (but better in a dish with a sauce). I have had it in place of pasta with spagetti sauce, under chicken instead of rice. It also is a great subsitute for potatoes in a breakfast hash. And broccoli is suppose to be one of those super vegetables, or so I have heard.
