All kinds of food from carb + sugar bomb treats to fussed over fine dining fare. I have associated eating well with deprivation from the foods that I enjoy. I think it's this attitude that prevents me from eating well. 

Instead, when I am presented with a tantalizing option, I have a little bit. You have to be the one to determine your portion size. If I want pizza, I'll have a tiny slice with a big salad. If I am tempted by funnel cake, I'll have a couple of nibbles and then give it away. 

I don't say no. "Just a tiny bit please!"
