It's Day 1 of the Greatist dietbet! 

Workout: A quick 2 mile run/walk. 

Breakfast: 2 microwave scrambled eggs w/S+P, chobani strawberry greek yogurt

Yum! Cooked the eggs at home, heated them back up at work. 

Lunch: Trader Joe's falafel wrap, apple, sparkling kiwi strawberry water

An ok lunch. The wrap was still dry despite the dipping tahini sauce. Nicely spiced, though. 

Snack: 4 hershey kisses, chocolate chip cookie larabar

The hershey kisses are of course not "fuel," but I really enjoyed them. Larabars rock my socks off every time.

Dinner: leftover enchilada casserole, handful of raspberries 

The casserole is still extremely delicous, but I ate it less mindfully than I would have liked (in front of my laptop). I could eat raspberries all day! 

Snack: 4 caramel chocolate hearts, 2 fun size tootsie rolls

Chocolate consumption is a slippery slope for me. I was at an emotionally stressful meeting, so I pulled from the candy bowl a few times.

I can already tell that writing this blog/journal will be really helpful for me throughout the course of this dietbet. Thank you for reading!
