It is day 2 of my journey. Being a teacher, I am on my feet all day long. Add to that the fact that my classroom is on the 3rd floor of an old building. I am up and down stairs from 7:30-3:30. My fit bit has become a great resource to prove my daily activity. I go home with anywhere from 6000-9000 steps everyday. With that said, how much of that is extra activity? When I go on breaks and I am not running the stairs multiple times a day, what happens to my metabolism? Does this hurt my chances of weightloss? I go home and workout an additional 30 minutes. While I am working out, I can be uncomfortable but I feel like I may not being pushing myself to the max. Am I doing my self a disservice by not pushing until I feel pain? Do I need to feel the burn in order to get the return? No pain, no gain?

I have been doing Piyo, lately. But, I also have done P90x workouts and T25. I like workouts that make me sweat but have a hard time doing higher impact exercises. I do like getting out on my bike now and then. Maybe I will do more since the weather is getting better in IL.
What type of exercise do you do at home? Is it more walking or something else? I personally recommend Swimming or Cycling. Both are low impact cardio activities. It is also good to do something different than your normal daily activity to challenge other areas of your body. Getting all muscles working is good for you. Good Luck!
