I had my second Barre class last night.

Instead of ten minutes of upper body free weights and 20 minutes of squat variations.... which was cruel,LOL. ( I couldnt complete the last 5-7 mins)

Last night we did everything "on our toes" ....squats, kicks, thrusts.... my calves and thighs were shaking.

I had sweat dripping off of my forearms even. But I finished the class!!! I was so excited. I was soo worried because my groin and thighs ached from spin classs the day before, but I pushed through and it was amazing.

It is so rewarding to go home and soak in the tub and know that I earned it. I would have never thought in a million years I would like these classes or even the instructors. I always imagined instructors as aloof or annoying. Dont ask me why. But all of mine are approachable and funny. They are very open minded that everyone has to go at their own pace and do what they can.

I honestly thought I could go into these classes one time, hate them, and have the perfect excuse to walk away. Now I am a member... it's my second week, and I can barely walk.

I love it.
