I was a gym rat years ago.

I would do 45 minutes of the elliptical, lift a few weights, tan, sit in the sauna.... but then life happened and I havent been back in about 7 years. Or should I say 70 lbs later. LOL

But the thing is....I have my own elliptical and I will never tan again. I didnt want a gym membership, but I was curious about all these new classes. All the old classes seemed so lame. But now there is Barre and spin.... so I decided I would try them out and if I liked them, the membership would be worth it.

This is weeek one. I did Barre and spin. Both were intense. Both classes I could not complete all the movements or the same pace as the instructor. I got drenched in sweat. My muscles screamed.... and my ego was severly bruised. I think the hardest part of classes for me.... is not being anywhere near the best in them. I was born with a competitive spirit and it is hard to accept where my fitness level is right now = rock bottom. But the instructors are great and I feel euphoric when the nightmare is over. :)

I'm going to stick with going to spin M/W and Barre on thurs. I walk 2 miles a day at work and just clean around the house and yard on the weekends. I feel like I have maybe found my nitch to get some muscle back, lose the cellulite, and lose the weight. Wish me luck!!!!
