As someone with hypothyroidism, I promise that life will get better with your medication. Even the brain fog will go away, and you might even stop losing stuff and getting distracted. But be patient, it will take about a month or 6 weeks or so. If I'm consistent and take my meds every day, life is good. If I miss days, I not only have physical but mental repercussions. Good luck! Now that you are back on track, you got this!

Thank you! I've been on this crazy thyroid journey for almost five years and my doc and I think we're now headed on the right path! I have a feeling this month is going to be way better!! I appreciate your comments!

Thyroid issues - ugh. the endocrine system and hormones in general are so tricky to do correctly and then treat effectively. I’m glad you are on new meds and heading down a better path. as Mel said patience is key- it takes time for the body to adjust. I admire your determination, your perseverance will help you achieve better health and your other goals.
