Thank you for sharing this story on here. I know that you're not alone in this experience. I remember many times that I have wanted to do a specific move, say a difficult lift and I have tried over and over and it just doesn't seem to be working. But you know what? The only time we fail is when we give up. So whether it takes me 5x or 500x, if I put my mind to something then I do it until I get it. From what I just read you are the same. I can also relate to being a little hard on myself, however, from my experience, I have learned that being kind and supportive to ourselves actually speeds up the success rate even more. So what I want to challenge you to do, is even in moments where you are out of breath, feeling a little defeated, or another circumstance where you might be hard on yourself. Stop and just tell yourself how proud you are of all that you're doing, working toward and turn that sort of criticism into encouragement. So instead of saying wow, I'm so out of shape, I can't believe I let myself get to this point, say WOW! I am so proud of myself for continuing to push forward despite how hard this is. I am proud of what I am doing and I am WINNING! Positive reinforcement, even to ourselves will make you less tense and anxious and your body, mind and spirit will be in balance. I am so proud of you already and know that you're going to achieve and likely surpass your goals. If there's anything I can help you with let me know. You are such an inspiration and a beautiful

Thank you so much for your kind words. I really do have a problem with being more critical with myself versus being encouraging. Sometimes it is so much easier to just give up, but you are correct the only way we can truly fail is to quit or not try at all. You are absolutely right that I need to be more proud of myself. It is something I am really going to work on. It means the world to me that you care so much about us. I will not let you (or myself) down!
