I love cross stitching, knitting, and crocheting. I can spend hours working on a project. I'm always doing a project while I watch TV. It's such a great way to stop myself from snacking. Until I get it in my mind that I need a snack. Then it is all I can think about. You were so strong with the snickers craving. My friend suggested the "chocolate diet" to me (not as unhealthy as it sounds). After each meal, eat a small piece of very dark, high-quality chocolate. It's supposed to send satisfaction signals to your brain and indicate the end of the meal because dessert is the typical end to a meal, thereby switching your brain out of hungry mode. It's also supposed to keep you from snacking in between meals because you remain satisfied for longer. I only do it sporadically because I break my meals up into about 5-6 small meals and I don't remember/want to eat chocolate every time I eat. But when I'm REALLY craving chocolate (which happens less frequently now, but still a few times a month) I munch the dark chocolate after I eat and it does help. Way to go with everything! I'd love to see your Snow White project when it's finished, or as you make progress. I'm working on cross stitched Christmas ornaments that look like little winter cupcakes right now!
