So, first day of DietBet Transformer challenge! It's certainly got me more enthusiastic about the whole dieting thing. I put on a lot of weight (about 5 stone in less than a year - I am definitely an emotional eater) a few years ago when having a stressful time and I've been trying to lose it on and off since. I have got better at managing stress since then, but I still have some way to go and I think sometimes with weight loss it can be a bit of a vicious circle of when I'm stressed I don't think about what I am eating, but being overweight contributes to life stress, health issues, etc. which doesn't help.

I'm hoping to make quite a few life changes in the next few months, and if I can get my weight back to what it should be as well hopefully that will put me in a good position for a complete new start by 2016.
