I started my weight loss joinery on Dec. 17, 2014. I was 234.2 pounds. (You can see my "before" photo.)

I worked hard and after 4 months had lost about 30 pounds. I was feeling great and all was right with the world. For me the key was tracking all my food and recording it religiously. It totally worked, and an unrelenting desire to success and be accountable.

Then the last two months I have lost my MOJO. Since May I have been gaining and losing the same 5 pounds. Argg! It was so frustrating. I just kept going over my calorie goal, of course I wasn’t progressing. My ultimate goal is to lose 80 pounds. I was just stalling at the 200 pound mark.

Now that I have joined Diet Bet I can feel the heat and passion I had the first few months returning. This morning I finally dipped down below the 5 pounds I have been gaining/losing for 9 weeks! It feels so good. I have also gotten back to hitting my calorie goal. I have been at or under my goal 5 days in a row and that hasn’t happened. . . in 9 weeks.

I feel pumped and so ready to make this phase successful. I’d love to see 175 on the scale by the end of the year. I’m excited to make things happen!
