realized i havent wrote in almost a week so thought id give update on how my weeks going.

well i've stuck to my keto diet although ate more cheese than i probably should but i figure eating cheese is better than eating something carby. i'm really trying to pay attention to my macros and keep the fat around 70%. I think the last time i stalled i wasnt tracking anything and couldnt tell when things went wrong.

i ordered a glucometer that measures ketones and glucose although i admit ketone strips are more than i like to pay, keeping my eye on ebay for deals though. after a week my glucose is 94 and ketones at .4.  my understanding is i want my glucose between 50 and  76 and the ketones at .5 to 6. yeah yeah i know takes time thats why i'm tracking and focusing on my macros. 

 

i've been having bullet proof coffee most mornings on way to work to get a jump start on my fats, when i dont i usually will have a tbsp of coconut oil to up the fats. anyways my weight is down a little but since i've been going back and forth i dont expect much water weight. i actually started low carb april 1st at 229lbs. as of this morning i was 197.8 lbs.
