Thanks Carol! I'm sure there are different side effects of hashimotos for men & women. My biggest battle has been weight loss & Sex drive. Armour has changed me back to me. My mood is better, energy is back, can't say hair loss lessened but I don't think the synthetic medicine helped with hair loss. My hair is thinner than 5 years ago but it was so thick it's not something I noticed much. My friend actually told me about her son having bumps on his skin & the dr said they're gluten bumps... from eating gluten. I had my wedding mid Feb and was food about not eating gluten ... that is until the day after. I was 155# then and have since gained 30# and all I've done is shove my face with bread and donuts and beer. I have small bumps on my arms I never had before so I'm hoping it's gluten bumps and will go away once I rid the toxins in my body. It's not easy to find an endocrinologist who will prescribe armour but it's worth the effort to try to find one. You can find a lot of holistic chiropractic Dr's to prescribe it if you don't feel the need for an endo. Hope any info or opinion I have helps and I hope you can get him to go back to a dr. I feel amazing on the right meds and I'm so happy I'm on something natural.
