Hi Melissa, Your blog caught my eye. There's a website/app that you might really like, called "Shrink Yourself." It was made by a psychiatrist an is specifically about emotional eating. I used a previous version of it years ago and it really helped, but I have to say, it was a lot of emotional work, with quite a lot of thinking and writing involved. I haven't tried the new version, but I bet it's even better. Also, I bet that if you sign up for free (I think it's a free exercise called "zap a craving"), they will probably start sending you discount codes to get you to join for full access. They keep sending me discount codes as a former member, and I am somewhat tempted to sign up again myself, because I never really finished it. Anyway, I have a feeling you wouldn't have to pay full price. There's also a free ebook by a psychologist called "The Path of Greatest Advantage." It's for all kinds of addictions, not just food issues, so you have to use your imagination more to apply it to your own situation. It's also quite a bit more philosophical/abstract. I think "Shrink Yourself" is probably easier and better since it is designed for emotional eating, but if you want to save some money, "The Path of Greatest Advantage" might help, too.Hope one of these is helpful to you!

Melissa J.

Thanks, I will look into it.
