This week was a little tough (Halloweekend: parties with friends and a bit too much drinking) but I made it through with 1lb down and motivation for the week ahead! I made my 5% goal at Weight Watchers and got a little celebration at my meeting, which is always good! It's tough for me to separate my weigh ins here to my weigh ins there, because my starting weights at each place were different due to changes in the scales. I know it doesn't really matter, but it's hard to wrap my head around it sometimes.
Anyway! I had a good week and was able to go grocery shopping again and get some fresh food to eat so hopefully next weigh in will be even better! I haven't been out walking in two weeks, last week I was sick as a dog and could barely get out of bed for work, let alone to run around in the bitter cold for an hour. And after this weekend I have been experiencing some ankle problems, so I haven't been able to get out again. But hopefully that will settle down so I can get out there a few more weeks until it gets too cold to go. I'm looking for something to do during the winter months to stay active. I technically can go to my school's rec center, but ideally I would like to find something to do in house so that I don't have to make a second trip back and forth, and so that I can do it whenever I want.
I can't wait to start "Get Lean by 2016" with hopefully the group of people who were in my first bet, we had such a fun and motivating team and that is something that really helped me! I have already started planning a Thanksgiving feast with me and my mom, and a "friendsgiving" with my roommates and a couple of my friends. I know it is going to be a bit of a struggle for those times, but I have faith that I can make healthy options available, and make good decisions to better myself and continue on in these challenges. Here's to next week!!
