After having some medical issues, I had to go on a strict diet. Good news was that I lost a whole bunch of weight but bad news is once I got the all clear to expand my nutrition to fruit, breads, etc. it crept back up on me. My views on life is to be active and happy. I workout at home or outside. I like to hike and take my dog for long walks. I am trying to do some running with her but it is difficult. Here's to progress!

One thing I have learned in my journey though is Nutrition is first. There is a line from the documentary Hungry for Change that always keeps me motivated "Simply add in the good stuff, eventually it will crowd out the bad." So true! There is absolutely nothing wrong with fruits, just make sure your getting a wide range of veggies in there too especially your leafy greens. If your going to have your breads just make wise decisions and be mindful of how much you consume. When I have bread I found a brand that I really like called "Dave's Killer Bread" It is 100% Whole Grain and Organic. love the stuff, but I only enjoy it on occasion. Stay strong, stay motivated and always remember you are precious!
