
Yesterday was a great first day, in that it was a normal-to-long day for me (early start at work, late finish with orchestra rehearsal) and I managed to do my normal eating and excercise activities but with moderation (quick workout at lunch, small afternoon snack, one glass of wine after work). A great start all around.
Today's Goal
Today we're headed to a wonderful authentic Mexican restaurant (Casa Borrega, pictured) to have dinner with dear friends who just got married last weekend. We'll likely break our good news to them also, so the goal will be to eat out and celebrate without going overboard. Plan: Eat my lunch throughout the day, no vending machine runs. Two workouts; walking at lunch and boot camp at the gym. Look at the menu ahead and plan; no chips, no cheese. They have great low carb options (ceviche, squash boats, etc.) and small plates.
