
It is with great sadness that I report this news from yesterday: I found out that IPA beers have significantly more calories than I had originally thought. :( I'd previously been entering all beer as generic beer, and just on a whim I googled IPA and discovered my mistake. So the good news was that even though my fiancé bought a six-pack of my favorite style (pictured), I only had one.
Today's Goal
Things have been going okay so far. I've not gotten all the way down to my calorie goal each day, but my experience from my last DietBet is that I'm active enough that I lose even if I'm 100-200 over everyday (we walk the dogs and bike communte to work every weekday, so that helps keep the metabolism humming). I think that in preparation for the weekend (and in mourning for my IPA habit), today's goal will be zero alcoholic beverages.
