I'm self-conscious too. I tried going to a gym, but I felt so awkward that I'd rush through whatever work out I was doing, or I'd find an elliptical off to the side and hide. I also tried jogging, but I was self conscious with all the other runners in my neighborhood. And it was rough on my knees and ankles. I've found that what works for me are short DVDs that I can do at home, all by myself! I get to stop when the DVD stops and I don't worry about anyone looking at me. It might be trial and error, but just keep trying things until you find something that you actually don't mind doing

It's hard when you can't focus on anything other than what people might think of you, right? I am trying so hard to get past that but it's just always on my mind. I do have short dvds, but rarely a minute to myself. Our house is small, and there's always someone in the main room, plus if it comes to moving around everything shakes there and I get self conscious that the neighbors hear the house shake. I really enjoy the JFit videos on youtube though so I just dance a little in my room every day. :) Thank you for sharing

Thank you, yes I am looking at Willitary Fitness right now and that is exactly what I was looking for, because from what I've seen so far it's all done in a very confined space, and that's how my house is. Very little room to move around.
