You can do it. When my mom was 71, I changed my lifestyle and she rolled her eyes. When she saw the change in just 6 months, she asked me to help her. She ate what I ate but didn't do ANY exercise. She flat out refused. Fine. Even with the change in eating she lost 60+ pounds and got to a fairly healthy weight. If you do a little exercise and change eating habits, you'll get there. Join a Transformer and give yourself 6 months of mindfulness. You'll lose... and you'll win. :)

Wow, that's awesome Cali. What type of eating do you follow? I've been trying to eat organic and gluten free. Just those two things have helped. I still eat lean meat every now and again too. I'm open to any info you can send my way. Thanks for giving me some encouragement and high 5 to your mom.

I'm not exactly the diet poster child, if you look at my graph, but I go back and forth between counting calories and keto. When I'm trying to lose, I walk, treadmill, elliptical and stationary bike as many nights each week as I can. My goal is just to burn some extra calories but in the meantime the cardio is good for my heart. I don't knock myself out, otherwise I'd hate doing it. Stick with whatever you'll stick with.
