While the last month has been filled with small victories for me (I came back from a long weekend visiting my sister in NYC weighing LESS than when I went!!), I'm a little behind on my Transformer and contemplating adding a Kickstarter. Part of me feels like that's a betrayal of my "turtle is my dieting spirit animal" thinking that has been very affirming so far. But the other part of me thinks that "you never know until you try" and that since, honestly, I want to lose more weight by next September than I'm currently on track for, I should up my game. I started a Kickstarter before, and it was a complete disaster. So I'm already predisposed to be cautious.
So I think I'm going to do it, with this caveat: If I feel myself failing, I can only fail back to my Transformer levels. Like, if I just can't sustain the reduced calories and feel like binging/gorging, etc. then I have to buck up and default back to my good healthy Transformer levels, not go hog wild and sabotage the whole thing. That feels doable. Wish me luck!
Today's Goal
Sign up for a new Kickstarter, rebalance my calorie intake goal and give it a shot! One day at a time. :)
Yesterday
