I now fit into one size lower jeans, and I have lost 1.4 pounds since I last wrote.  I have not tried to measure early to see how I'm doing.  I'd rather wait until the 17th at least, if not the 19th when I'm supposed to do it and unofficially weigh for myself.

Finally, the end of the second month:

Waist: 36" (down 1" from last month)
Hips: 41" (down .5" from last month)
Mid-Thigh: 21" (same)
Upper Arm: 13" (same)
Neck: 13" (down .5" from last month)
Body Fat: 32.6% (down .5% from last month!!!)
BMI: 28.8 (down .3 from last month!!)

I'm very pleased, especially about my waist and my body fat (which would not budge previously).  My weight is down 1.6 pounds since last month's weigh-in and measurements on the 17th of December.  I feel really, really good about how it turned out.  I had hoped for a small reduction in my arms, but since I'm weight training, I get why that might not happen.  I totally understand why in the same token that wouldn't happen for my thighs.  My hip measurement was a pleasant surprise, as I hadn't expected to lose there, just hadn't.  Glad I lost a little.  I don't relish bumping into furniture as I pass between it and things like that.  That's all for half of December and half of January.  Now for the third month of my new fitness room and routine and much healthier eating.
