Driving home was awful today.  I nearly got side swiped by a careless tractor trailor that waited way too long to get into the proper lane in lake effect snow.  I made up my mind on the way home I would skip the gym and try to do an at home workout.  Last I checked, Amazon Prime still had some videos available.  Wrong!  Why do all the streaming services keep taking these videos down?  I resorted to Fios OnDemand and picked out the one cardio workout that was about an hour long.  This woman gave no introduction, no warm up.  She explained how to do every 5 second routine while she was doing it so that I had not even figured out the last move before she moved onto the next.  20 seconds later I pressed stop.

At this point, I told myself it was okay to miss one day.  But what would I do with my night?  Knit? Play with my cat?  Watch TV??  All of these options sounded so boring.  Was I really going to let my one hour lunch break at work where I sat in the breakroom and talked about Dr. Phil's take on Making a Murder be the highlight of my day? (He thinks he's guilty btw)

Then I remembered something.  It's f@#$%ing leg day!  So I wrapped myself up in my winter gear and headed on my merry way to the gym.  I had one of my best workouts yet.  I always start the stair master at  level 5 bur never last the full 15 minutes that high.  Well today I did.  I did every leg machine that place had to offer (except the calf one because I'd like for that part of my body to get less muscular thank you) and finished it off with 22 minutes on the eliptical.  Now I'm pumped, and I'm never going to be able to sleep.  But you know what?  No regrets.
