So despite a nice even downward trend in my weight this past few weeks, it's been slower progress than I'd like and it doesn't take an ace detective to figure out why: I've been regularly going over my "goal" calories. By quick math, it's been an average of 190 over per day. So while I'm still losing, I could have lost an extra 2 lbs this past month over what I did. Not something I'm going to beat myself up over, but also an area where I think I could do better without getting frustrated and giving up.

What I don't want is to be lackluster and halfhearted now when I still have seven months until my wedding when I could be putting in the extra work now before things get hectic.  

So here's the goal: For this work week (Monday through Friday) I will eat under my goal calories every day.

This week will have me back in my normal routine of gym nights, etc. so that should show some improvement.
