So this is my first time starting a diet bet. I signed up for 3 games right away. I figured I really need another kick start. One of my games my start weight was 238.2 and then a couple days later I weighed in for my other two diet bets and I actually gained weight and I was 240.6. I have never seen the scale say 240 before in my life. Last year I was close two this weight and lost about 50lbs on a raw vegan lifestyle. Just eating all the fruits and veggies I wanted to and not worrying about calories or anything like that. But after going on a cross country trip this past summer I feel off that amazing lifestyle. I put the 50 lbs back on in 7 months with eating everything in sight and drinking very heavily.
I tried a couple time to get back on track but couldn't seem to take control. I thought if I put money on the line then I would have a better chance because, I do like money. Going cold turkey from S.A.D. diet to a Raw Vegan lifestyle kinda makes me nervous.. Don't get me wrong last time I did it, I had more energy then ever drop weight, my whole body was enlightened and I wasn't depressed anymore. I felt like i was in a Zen state and my mind was a lot more clear.
The thing that kinda has me worried is the first two couple weeks. When I'll have to go through a period of detoxing from all the crap i've eaten and drank. This also lead to withdrawals and this is pretty much hell.. I'm only on day 3 right now but the pounds are coming off pretty quick... But headaches, the sweats, always feels kinda anxious, trouble sleeping, and just run down from my body trying to heal it self from all the damage I caused on it.
I know if I can just make it though the first couple weeks I will be in that amazing place where I was before. Not really craving meat, dairy, or bread, but sometime I cold beer sounds nice. I know I can get through this detox/withdrawal and seeing the number on the scale drop only gives me more motivation.
I really don't want to just get 4% weight loss this month I'm trying to shoot for closer to 8%. For exercise I have only been walking like 5 miles outside of work and at work I'm walking around all day. Fruit and Veggie and small amount of sprouts and nuts.
Well just wanted to write a blog last time i tried this. I was almost done typing and the internet shutdown and I lost everything.. Ya wasn't impressed..
till next time...
Good luck to everyone that is working towards their weight loss goal
