Sounds like some amazing changes going on in your life for sure. All the best to you with this new career path. As far as snacking after dinner...Sometimes I need to have something extra so I will have a hot cup of soothing tea and a few almonds and that does the trick every time.

Big D

snacking after dinner - that is a killer, good for you!

Great progress! Congratulations on sticking to your rules so well. I find that it's better for my psyche NOT to weigh myself every day, so you may actually be doing yourself a favor by forgetting to do it in your morning whirlwind. Wait until Saturday or Sunday and see where you are. (Plus, that's good motivation to keep you on track through the weekend.) I have a few pairs of pants like the ones that now fit you (yay!), as in, I can get INTO them, but I wouldn't necessarily want anyone to see me in them. Close, though. Keep it up!

Lisa

"Motivation pants"! Love it! :)

UPDATE: So far so good with the tuck shop. It's not calling my name at all today so it feels easy to avoid all that junk food - at least it does now.

I will never understand Canadians and poutine. Never. Back on the horse for all of us, lady! I have about 3 months till I see family I haven't seen in a year. I'd REALLY like it if I could be visibly smaller and more fit. I'm having cantaloupe for lunch. As a result I'm sad, lol. But it's a jumping point. I am tsk-ing you, but you already know so I'll leave it at that :)

As an, "All out" sort of person...How about healing, "All Out?" All the best to you, glad your back!!!

Great post, Glamping Gal. I know the feeling. I have been travelling and visiting with family for 2 months and the scale took a beating. I initially contemplated trying to stay the course and stay enrolled in bets while on the road. But then reality set in. LOL. So, now it is time to pay the piper. Here's one piece of good news: you know how to do it. You've done it before and you'll do it again now. I bet those 8 pounds will fly right off of you.

I totally get that! I have my own little shrinking roll! I try to sit up straight while I'm in my cubicle because I heard it gives your abs a work out. Soon there won't even be a dent! Way to go!
