Such a great post and so universal! I love the part about your mom's perpetual diet because that really hits home. It is like I am always "on a diet" however sometimes I'm being good on the diet or sometimes I'm eating things that are not "on my diet" and feeling guilty, but either way I feel like I am always and forever on this diet. It's silly. And the Unhelpful Helpers are universal too. Navigating around their help is one of the hardest parts of all this!
