I'm doing couch to 5k, and my session on Monday was the long, wk5/run3, 20-minute run. Despite all of my whining and dread before-hand, the run went great. I was thrilled! It was the first extended running time in the program.
Today (2 days later), though, my C25K session was a less-intimidating 5 min run/3walk/8 run/3 walk/5 run....and it SUCKED. Less running, more struggle. What the heck?!?
After that, the rest of my workout seemed harder than normal. I just felt out of sync. Maybe I'm dehydrated? Or, more tired than I feel? Maybe the bad run just got in my head and threw everything else off...
I was feeling so good about my progress on Monday, and now I'm feeling defeated. :-/
