I heard some words last night I thought I would never hear.  "Can you buy some none soda products, like may be a G2s or Green Teas?" After my teen son said it, he saw my happy expression.  This was a change I had been working on all summer.  With him making fun of my yogurt eating, Fitbit updating, and water drinking, he finally got it.  Neither of my teens has had a  real weight probelm.  My daughter had a "Freshmen 15" to lose this summer.  My main argument with them has been their nutrition choices.  They are starting to make their own food.  When learning to cook, hot pockets and frozen pizzas rein. I got my daughter to stop trying fads like cleanses and workout.  She left my hosue with a Fitbit on her arm and a workout schedule planned for the college gym near by.  My son has gone with me and family dog for a few runs.  Healthy can be contagious, just an illness can. As parents, we have eyes watching and learning from us all their lives.  Doing speaks louder than words.  We are their first teachers.
