ThanKS for being so honest & authentic Raney. I also really appreciate your heart for encouraging others. I don't have the Wii to join your new group but I hope others will come along and join you and be part of your fitness journey. I also like to encourage people with the same encouragement I have received so I get that. One of the ways I was very much helped 13 years ago, when my children were 1 and 3 years old and they were sick all the time, was by a dietitian who told me about Juice Plus. It is a cost effective efficient way to get more fruits and vegetables into your body by capsule and gummy form and it made such a difference! We went from being a family that was always at the doctor's office to a family that never had to go to the doctor again for sickness. Also my kids went from not wanting to eat many vegetables to eating almost every vegetable they come in contact with because after a while their bodies begin to crave vegetables. I encourage you to check it out as Juice Plus has 30 published independent clinical studies that have been done at major hospitals and universities around the world. It has even been published in the American Journal of Pediatrics. http://dodson.juiceplus.com/us/en/clinical-research/clinical-research

That is great that you and your kids eat veggies and love broccoli; you are certainly doing better than we did at that age. However I think there can be kind of a blind spot for most people that eat better than the average American diet because they tend to see themselves as eating great compared to others. However I remember the study done in Australia showed that even though Australians eat more fruits and vegetables and have lower homocysteine levels than most Americans, Juice Plus still improved their health markers after taking it for just one month. Believe me, it still can make a huge difference to get an additional 26 different fruits, vegetables and berries into your body every day especially now that they are telling us that we need to get between 9 and 13 servings of fresh raw fruits and vegetables every day. Beyond quantity, the added variety is huge because each kind has unique phytochemicals that the others don't have, that your body needs to be at its best (like lycopene in tomatoes, Resveratrol in grapes and anthocyanins in blueberries). So there is no getting too much produce and the more you get the bigger the improvement. On the Juice Plus Children's Health Study Program, for just 75c a day, you each can be getting all that produce that would be so much more to buy in the store because of the added transportation and distribution costs.
