I have a few things in mind for when things get a little ugly and I have to really sprint to finish strong. Here are my list of secret weapons I plan to use if I'm not on track... or end up having a dozen donuts on an emotional day and getting actively disgusted with myself.

-Cold showers in the mornings

-Quitting alcohol intake altogether

-PAGG (http://paggonline.com/introducing-the-four-horsemen-fat-loss/)

-Longer walk/runs in the morning

-Squats before every meal

-Limiting my portion to one bowl, no refills every meal

-Snacks are now glasses of water

-Saturday splurge day is instead splurge only one meal

-Spending 5 minutes every morning before I get up, imagining all of my fat just melting away

-Counting calories

-Weave more non-exercise activities whenever I find them. I'll chase harder after my boys, play tag, I'll park farther from the store, I'll go forage for strawberries and mushrooms in the mountains, walk an extra bus stop, walk stairs twice on purpose, etc.

-Start my waking moment with more of a protein and fat -- boiled egg and some nuts, to jumpstart my metabolism

-Put more lemon on my foods (makes you digest better, helps with metabolism, and immune system)

-Use cinnamon for my coffee instead of cream... cinnamon instead of sugar.

-I'll spice up my foods (makes you feel more satisfied on less)

-Eat slower, taking intentional 30 second breaks every 30 seconds of eating; evaluating during the 30 second break, whether I am still hungry, not whether I'm satisfied and full.

-Ensure full night's sleep (helps with good metabolism and recovery after workouts)

-Sex
