So, my husband and I are both in a transformer that had a weigh in while we were on a road trip.  Oh, what to do...

We took the scale!  We were careful for the few days leading up to the weigh in, brought the scale in our room and weighed each day until weigh in day and magically we both acheived our goals.  YAY US!!

Then we felt free and lived the next 2 weeks of the road trip/cruise/road trip home eating and drinking like we had no weight worries at all.  Of course we still do and we both gained back some weight.  The biggest issue is that our scale lost a couple of feet in the travels and even when put back on the scale now feels unbalanced.  Also our weight gains are so scary that with those two facts combined I think I have to buy another scale.

Your weight is always relative to your scale, a new one might reveal all kinds of miscalibration all along but I feel the need.  Fingers crossed we can get this weight off and get back on track to the long term goal!  The other goal should be ditching the "dieter"mentality and actually making lifestyle changes that stick. Thats the hardest goal of all.
