Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself, right? I am smack dab in the middle of my weight loss journey.  Ive lost a substancial amount of weight, but still have quite a way to go.  Today I went to a group bootcamp class, run by my best friend at her gym.  There are a good group of "regulars" that attend her classes pretty much every day and the ladies that attend are from all walks of life, ages, shapes and sizes.  This particular class is basically HIIT, or interval training with different stations set up around the room that you rotate after doing a certain number of sets at each station for a specific amt of time.  So, there were stations with dumbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, mat work, and 2 ft tall wooden boxes/platforms.  We are all having a great workout and I have made my way to the wooden box station.  The exercise for this area was that you jump up onto the box and down onto the floor repeatedly for the interval.  So I begin the set and I notice I'm hearing this noise every time I jump up onto the box'' "fwwaapp".  Mortified, I realized it was my FLABBY STOMACH hitting my LEGS every time I jump up. :O  OMG.  Now, I should tell you right here that my stomach is the area of my body that I am most unhappy with.  Along with being obese/losing weight I have had 3 babies, 2 of whom were over 9lbs... and my oldest is 17 so this has been something I've had for a long time. Anyway--back to the story-- I immediately look around to see if anyone else noticed it but they were all concentrating on their own stations (and no one was near me).  The music was blaring so I don't think anyone else heard it.  My first thought was, I need to "modify" this exercise and just step up and down on the box instead of jump with both feet so I don't get embarrassed if someone hears this awful sound.  And maybe the 195lb me would have done just that.  But, the 160something pound me decided that I was going to jump those boxes like a BOSS.  2017 is the YEAR OF CARRIE and it can be your year too, I will share ;)   I WILL REACH MY GOAL WEIGHT THIS YEAR.  I have run TWO FULL MARATHONS- so why can't I lose the rest of this weight??  I CAN, and I WILL-- and yall might hear me all over America doing it with my flabby stomach slapping my legs lol!!  And who knows, when I reach my goal maybe I will get a tummy tuck! :P
