I had to work today.

Long Beach is 1 1/2 hours away so that means that i had to drive 3 hours total today.  Additionally, I had to help my husband with the two extra dogs I agreed to dogsit before I left the house.

I was able to have breakfast though, 3 eggwhites with 1/4 tsp bee pollen and an ounce of feta.

The good news is that I didn't eat with any of my clients today.  Normally I have a little something with each of them (we meet at restaraunts) and I blow my diet.  Today I said "I can't eat anything today because I'm on a diet bet" and every one was cool with it.  It wasn't even difficult to watch everyone else eat, because I was so busy.

After work I was exhausted so my husband took me to Souplantation.  Normally I don't even pay attention to calorie counts but today I looked everything up on sparkpeople BEFORE I got there so I had a game plan.

I started with TWO plates instead of one in the salad line.  I loaded up on anything with color:  greens carrots cabbage, etc.  Then I topped it off with rice wine vinegar and some sesame seeds.  This helped me to stay away from the pizza.  I was saving some calories for soup, but none of them looked good.

What REALLY made me decline dessert was watching all the unsupervised little kids at the dessert station.  I love kids, but I really didn't want to share any of their germs so I declined.

After I got home I still had about 200 calories left, so I splurged with 1/2 ounce of cashews and a heaping tablespoon (about 1/1/2 tbsp) of dark chocolate chips.

It was a great day all in all.

Thanks DietBet!
