Well, I'd love to say that I slayed the wedding I was a bridesmaid in yesterday, ate clean and stayed away from the loud sexy voices of the havarti, swiss and old smoked cheddar luring me to the buffet table. But alas, they got me! Their diabolical friends mini meatballs and boccocini/tomato skewers were also in on the sabotage. Bastards! I'd say I scored a 5/10 on the staying on track front. So all in all not a complete wash. One thing I've learned over the last 6 years of healthy living and losing 75-80 pounds is that it's about the big picture. Holding onto small miss steps is destructive and only leads to more poor choices. So once I come out of this cheese coma I will do something that reminds me that inspite of the day yesterday I am still strong and capable of reaching my ultimate goal!

Thank you for sharing this. I'm about to start my first DietBet in a few days and my down fall in the past has always been when I slip up. Instead of getting back on track I feel guilty about it and end up eating very badly for who knows how long. I know this is going to be an obstacle I am going to have to work on, not letting a slip up turn into an all out disaster.
