Came across some wise words. Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than pride. How profound. Finishing is so much more thrilling than starting a daunting task. In fact I've had the awful habit of procrastinating because I never felt like starting. Starting is always the hardest. However once you get started you build a little momentum and then very gradually you begin to see results. Results are very motivating! But to keep going requires some persistence. Look forward and look forward to the the finish. What will that look and feel like?

Patience is better than pride. Patience is a virtue. A great and necessary character trait. It grows when your working hard towards something. Achieving that something will require some patience. As it's tempting to want to quit when your results don't come as fast as you'd like. But if you have patience those results will come. Progress and not perfection. If you only accept  perfect and it's all or nothing pride will convince you to quit. At least with patience eventually you'll reach your goal and will have gained a valuable trait. If pride wins it leads to quitting, not reaching the finish and no good character gains! Let patience win. Finishing is better than starting and having to restart over and over. Starting is the hardest part. That's not the part you want to keep repeating.  Keep going, it's easier over all. Focus on the finish! Look forward to finishing!
