With my frist ever diet bet down, I am happy with my results!  I won!  My 4% goal was 7 pounds which I thought imopossible in a month.  I lost 10 pounds!  I feel so much healthier even though I still have a ways to go.  I know it is a lifestyle change and sometimes it may be slow.  I am determined to succeed!

It has been fun finding healthy ways to eat out and cook meals.  I must say, I have been utilizing the stove much more than the microwave which I think is a plus, unless heating up a prepped meak which I have yet to think of meals that far ahead.

Since day 1, I have been striving to drink half my body weight of water in oz a day.  I have only accomplised the full amount a handfull of times, but I am still happy that I have been drinking a lot more water every day than I had before.

I havent joined a gym and am trying to save money by exercising at home.  I have Wii Zumba and other fitness games, work out DVDs, a rowing machine, weights and a dog to walk.  All this has not worked before, but I am determined now and so far, so good.  I think the challenge of the dietbet is just what I needed.
