When is walking actually running?

In general, you are burning 100 calories a mile whether walking or running. If you are really wanting to say you are running, you can slow down a little and run the whole time. But really, you are burning 270 for that 2.7 miles whether it takes you 20 hours or 20 minutes.

Yes. The calories just get burned at a faster rate (obviously) if you are going faster. :)
