Finally after 3 years I was given the go ahead to exercise after an illness. My goal is to walk at least 10,000 steps per day. It has been three days and I have far exceeded the total to over 12,000 steps. Many of you would think that is not alot, but coming from a person who could barely walk nor exercise at all it is an accomplishment for me and losing weight at the same time is an added bonus. I gained over 40 lbs due to my illness and now I am 6 down with this program and 10 down all together since end of August. I stopped all sodas and out food, I know I will plateau but as long as the arrow is pointing down from where I was, I am a happier person.
