My last post was titled, "The Pants Aren't Magic," because I fit into some old pants, and was excited, but knew I was the one making this happen, and the pants weren't magically now fitting my body. Well, today, I did it again. I think fitting into smaller clothes in your closet is actually more exciting than my last post expressed! I fit into some shorts (hello, 90 degrees in Austin). These shorts. Y'all. I couldn't even get them on my thighs in August!!! And today, here they sit, on my legs, comfortably around my waist. Wooooohoooooooo!

Little by little. I can do this. You can do this. We can do this.

I'm in grad school full time, and last week was as intense as camping. Several papers and presentations. I let this be an excuse to not track, and eat pretty much whatever I wanted. BUT. I didn't let that derail my entire plan/goal/dream. Sunday, I sat back down, and did what works. Meal planned for the week. Grocery shopped. Meal prepped snacks and chopping as much as I could. It felt good to be back in a routine.

Also... if you haven't yet seen this website, check it out! www.inspiralized.com

She posts WONDERFUL low-carb recipes. I didn't buy an expensive spiralizer. I bought a $12 handheld one off amazon, and it works GREAT. Get yourself a spiralizer and make your brain think you're eating pasta when you're eating veggies! :) Last night, I made a chicken enchilada style zucchini noodle bowl, and for lunch added some zucchini noodles with siracha, an apple, and a cheese stick.
