A month from today we leave for 6-day getaway and although it will not be the end of my healthy living journey, I do want to look the best I can for my trip.  It is funny how time and experience changes things.  I would love to lose another 10 lbs or more before I go, but I know it is more realistic of me to hope for 5-8.  It appears my weight loss has slowed to about 1-1/2 lbs per week (on a good week).  I know this is the healthy way to go but at times it gets so frustrating getting on the scale hoping for a breakthrough only to find that I lost .2 lbs after staying within all of my boundaries for the entire weekend. 

Yesterday, I got bored and frustrated with the contstant watching, logging, counting.  I wanted to give up but I didn't.  I stayed on track but I am so hoping for a breakthrough soon.  I only have a little weight to lose on both of my bets, but with the plateau that I am seem to be on, I am a little worried that it might not happen.

I wish I knew the SECRET but I am sure we all do.  Until then, I will just keep soldiering on.

I just have to KEEP THE FAITH.
